As an Airport Security Officer: Part Time Dispatch/CCTV in Kahului HI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Requirements

• Valid Drivers License
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in call taking dispatching and CCTV monitoring
• Airport Security Experience: 1 years
• 21 years of age
• Must be able to read write and speak English fluently
• Have ability to pass a background check drug screening and physical exam
• Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
• NOTE: First two months in this position will be working various posts for best geography and familiarization on airport property

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers visitors airport personnel and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas public access points parking facilities roadways perimeter areas and other assigned airport locations.
• Observe and report unusual activity suspicious items access concerns hazards and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents alarms medical situations and other critical events in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs incident reports and shift documentation and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and authorized airport representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
