Assistant Activity Director

Do you have a passion for creating engaging and meaningful activities for seniors? Pomeroy Living is seeking a full-time Assistant Activity Director to join our vibrant activities team.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Activity Director in planning, implementing, and leading a variety of recreational and social activities for residents.
Ensure activities are tailored to meet the individual needs, interests, and abilities of each resident.
Assist residents in participating in activities and outings.
Maintain accurate records of resident participation and activity attendance.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a holistic approach to resident care.
Provide support to the Activity Director as needed.

Qualifications:

Valid CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist) or ADC (Certified Activity Director) certification required.
Two years of experience in a social or recreation program within the last five years.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Passionate about working with seniors and enhancing their quality of life.
