NOW HIRING ATHLETIC TRAINER

Location: Mauston, WI


Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time

Department: Health Sciences

Shift Information : Varies, Full Time
Schedule: Monday Friday with evening event coverage
Hours: 80 hours/pay period
Weekend Coverage: Occasional athletic event coverage

Weekend rotation: Occasional event coverage

Holiday rotation: Occasional event coverage

Salary: $25 - $28/hr.
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $7,500

POSITION SUMMARY

Seeking an experienced Athletic Trainer to provide medical care and support for athletes and active individuals, including injury prevention, evaluation, rehabilitation, concussion management, and emergency care .

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cover athletic events and after-school activities at a contracted high school
• Evaluate, manage, and rehabilitate athletic injuries
• Perform musculoskeletal and concussion evaluations
• Develop injury treatment and return-to-play plans
• Communicate with athletes, parents, and coaches

• Document evaluations and treatments
  Provide occupational health and rehabilitation services

• Perform functional progress assessments and job-specific conditioning
• Support orthopedic clinic activities, including patient histories and education
• Coordinate event coverage schedules

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology
• 1+ year of related Recent experience
• Current Wisconsin Athletic Trainer license
• BOC certification for Athletic Trainers
• Current BLS certification from AHA
• Valid driver's license
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform musculoskeletal and concussion evaluations
