Salary: $80,000-$90,000 annually + Bonus

Position Overview
An established luxury restaurant group is seeking an experienced Bar Manager for an exciting new upscale Mediterranean restaurant opening in Vail, Colorado.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in luxury dining, craft cocktails, and beverage operations, along with a passion for exceptional hospitality. This is an opportunity to help develop a distinctive beverage program and build a talented bar team in one of Colorado's premier resort destinations.
Primary Responsibilities

• Pre-Opening Leadership: Assist with bar setup, beverage program development, hiring, training, and establishing service standards.
• Beverage Program Development: Create and execute an innovative cocktail program featuring premium spirits, Mediterranean-inspired ingredients, and seasonal offerings.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing bar team focused on exceptional service and consistency.
• Luxury Guest Experience: Deliver polished, personalized hospitality while maintaining elevated beverage and service standards.
• Financial Management: Oversee beverage costs, inventory, purchasing, labor, and profitability.
• Daily Operations: Manage bar operations, scheduling, quality control, and compliance with liquor laws and safety standards.
• Collaboration: Partner with the Executive Chef, General Manager, and service team to create a cohesive food and beverage experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of bar management experience in an upscale, fine dining, or luxury restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of craft cocktails, premium spirits, wine, and beverage trends.
• Experience developing cocktail menus and managing beverage programs.
• Previous restaurant opening experience preferred.
• Strong financial skills, including beverage cost controls, inventory, and budgeting.
• Proven leadership, training, and team development abilities.
• Experience in a luxury resort or seasonal destination is a plus.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
