Claims Business Analyst (Property & Casualty Insurance)

Location: Purchase, NY | Morristown, NJ | New York City, NY | Atlanta, GA | Chicago, IL | Hybrid 3 Days On-Site per Week

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Claims Business Analyst with strong Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance claims experience to support claims system implementation, enhancement, and ongoing support initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of business analysis experience, including a minimum of 3 years specifically working with P&C insurance claims systems and processes. This role requires strong expertise in business requirements gathering, process modeling, functional documentation, and collaboration with business and technical teams.

Important: This is a Claims Business Analyst role focused specifically on Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance claims. Candidates with only Medicare, Medicaid, healthcare, or other non-P&C insurance experience will not be considered.

Required

• 7+ years of business analysis experience.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance claims.
• Proven experience supporting P&C claims system implementation and ongoing system support.
• Strong experience developing detailed business requirements and technical specifications.
• Hands-on experience creating business process diagrams, data rules, business requirements, functional requirements, and user stories.
• Experience working with Agile and iterative methodologies.
• Working knowledge of SDLC and PMLC processes.
• Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with three days per week in the office at one of the listed locations.

Qualifications

• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification is a plus, but not required.
• Experience supporting complex claims transformation, system enhancement, or implementation projects.
