Job Description

A leading manufacturer is seeking a Folding Machine Programmer / Operator to program, set up, and run CIDAN CNC folding machines for custom architectural sheet metal. Candidates must be able to read blueprints, set bend sequences, and inspect finished parts using precision tools. Previous CNC folding or press brake experience is required (CIDAN preferred). Schedule is Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM at $30.00 – $35.00/hr, and this company offers overtime and great benefits!

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CIDAN CNC sheet metal folding equipment

• Develop bend sequences, perform test bends, and adjust programs to hit required tolerances

• Read and interpret architectural shop drawings, blueprints, and flat patterns

• Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy, bend angles, and finish using measuring tools

• Handle prefinished materials carefully to avoid damage and minimize scrap

• Coordinate with shop managers and perform routine equipment maintenance

The essential functions of this role include:

• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
