General Manager – Upscale Restaurant (LOCATED IN MENLO PARK)

$115,000 - $125,000

This highly regarded chef-driven restaurant is seeking a passionate and experienced General Manager to lead operations of their upscale concept, offering outstanding compensation and long-term growth opportunity.

Your Role with the Company:

The General Manager oversees all operations of the restaurant. Your responsibilities will include:

• Oversee all aspects of daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service, strong organization, and consistent execution across front-of-house and back-of-house teams
• Uphold service, hospitality, cleanliness, and operational standards through clear communication, active floor presence, and consistent follow-through
• Lead, coach, and hold team members accountable while fostering a professional, respectful, and high-performing workplace culture
• Implement and maintain SOPs, systems, and procedures that support consistency, efficiency, accountability, and long-term operational success
• Manage staffing, scheduling, training, service flow, and day-to-day problem solving with a hands-on, ownership-driven approach
• Partner closely with ownership and leadership to support financial performance, guest satisfaction, team development, and overall business goals
• Address performance issues directly and professionally, including coaching, documentation, discipline, and corrective action when needed  

Your Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a General Manager for a $3M+ upscale or fine dining full-service restaurant
• Highly organized and systems-minded, with the ability to manage details, priorities, and daily operations with consistency and follow-through
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to set expectations, hold teams accountable, and maintain elevated standards in a polished dining environment
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead clearly, address challenges directly, and build trust with staff, guests, and ownership
• Hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset with a strong sense of responsibility, professionalism, and ownership over the success of the operation
• Experience with private dining and/or special events is a plus, but not required
• Restaurant is located in Menlo Park
