A-Level Biology Teacher
Location: Tianjin, China
Start Date: August 2026

Key Responsibilities
• Plan, prepare and teach A-Level lessons in your subject specialism(s)
• Write schemes of work, unit plans and assessment tasks aligned to CAIE / Edexcel specifications
• Set, mark and moderate homework, quizzes and internal examinations; maintain accurate academic records
• Supervise and assess student practical work in fully equipped science labs (Physics / Chemistry / Biology)
• Offer after-school clinics and individual tutorials; give regular written feedback to students and parents
• Contribute to departmental meetings, parents’ evenings, university-guidance events and continuous-curriculum improvement

Required Qualifications & Experience
• Native-level English speaker from recognised native-speaking countries
• Current, government-issued teaching licence (e.g. QTS, US State License, SACE, BCCT, etc.)
• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology or closely related field
• Minimum one full academic year of A-Level, IB DP, AP or equivalent international-curriculum experience
• Demonstrated ability to manage a secondary classroom and build positive rapport with adolescent learners

• pre-tax salary: RMB20-25K monthly, 13 months pay
