Housekeeping Assistant
Cedar Haven Healthcare Center – Lebanon, PA
Status: Full-time (75 hours per pay) & Part time- (30 hours per pay)
Requirements: Every other weekend, and every other holiday
Rate: $16.00/hour plus shift differential
Cedar Haven Healthcare Center is dedicated to maintaining a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for our residents, families, and staff. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. This role plays a vital part in supporting resident comfort, dignity, and overall quality of life.
Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices
Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect assigned areas according to facility standards
Properly handle and dispose of waste and soiled materials
Restock supplies and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation procedures
Work collaboratively with nursing and facility staff to minimize disruption to resident care
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Must be reliable and able to work required weekends and holidays
