THE COMPANY:

Casleo LLC DBA Global Meals a well-established and growing company providing home-delivered meals to the elderly in various communities throughout Ohio. As a Packer your contributions will be essential in accomplishing our mission to meet the nutritional needs of the older adults we serve by delivering globally sourced healthy delicious and nutritious meals.

THE POSITION:

• Responsible for packing meals accompaniments and other items as directed according to a consumers care plan.
• Fulfill all prescribed Daily Work Tasks as instructed by the Warehouse Manager and/or supervisor.
• When needed and directed by the Warehouse Manager and/or supervisor assist with loading meals into delivery vehicles.
• Help with meal counts and secure food for any necessary changes.
• Assist in receiving warehousing and distributing meals as required.
• Ensure product quality by reviewing expiration dates and reporting expired items to the Warehouse Manager.
• Comply with federal state and local warehousing material handling and shipping regulations by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on necessary actions.
• Monitor food temperatures daily during storage and packing for delivery.
• Assist with inventory management by conducting physical counts and reconciling with the data storage system.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary warehouse keeping the work area free from trash and cardboard at all times.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Global Meals.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

Along with being passionate about your role and dedicated to our mission and vision Packers with the best prospects for success will need:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A team player who thrives in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills including the ability to read and write.
• Comfort working in coolers or freezers as needed.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work is primarily performed in a warehouse setting with varying temperatures constant moderate noise and occasionally tight spaces. Work is conducted in close proximity to others.

• Full-time Monday-Friday 6:00 am - 2:00 pm work schedule.
