Key Responsibilities
Design implement and administer VMware NSX-T environments including logical routing switching load balancing and distributed firewall policies.
Manage micro segmentation strategies and enforce network security posture across virtualized workloads.
Perform regular maintenance updates and lifecycle management of NSX components and related VMware platforms.
Monitor NSX infrastructure health performance capacity and logs using native tools and third-party monitoring systems.
Troubleshoot complex issues involving network overlays transport nodes edge appliances and integrations with physical networks.
Collaborate with network server and security teams to support architecture designs platform upgrades and new deployments.
Develop and maintain documentation including topology diagrams standard operating procedures and configuration records.
Implement automation and scripting to improve efficiency consistency and disaster recovery readiness.
Support incident response activities related to network virtualization and ensure timely resolution.
Participate in on-call rotation and provide escalation support for critical infrastructure issues.

| Experience with monitoring tools (vRealize Network Insight Aria Operations SolarWinds Splunk etc.). | Highly desired |
