Make an Impact.The Spring Grove YMCA is seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Zumba and/or Yoga Instructor to lead dynamic group fitness experiences that help members improve their health, reduce stress, and achieve their wellness goals. If you're passionate about movement, enjoy motivating others, and thrive in a community-focused environment, we'd love to have you on our team.Essential ResponsibilitiesLead safe, effective, and engaging Zumba and/or Yoga classes for participants of varying ages, fitness levels, and experience.Provide clear instruction, demonstrations, and appropriate modifications to ensure all participants can succeed.Create a welcoming, inclusive environment that encourages confidence, participation, and member retention.Monitor class safety and follow all YMCA policies, emergency procedures, and incident reporting protocols.Prepare class spaces by setting up, organizing, and maintaining equipment before and after sessions.Maintain accurate attendance records and complete required documentation.Stay current on fitness, wellness, and industry trends to deliver high-quality programming.Build positive relationships with members and serve as a motivating ambassador for YMCA wellness initiatives.QualificationsCurrent CPR PRO, AED, and First Aid certification required.Zumba Instructor Certification, RYT-200, ACE, AFAA, or equivalent group fitness credential required.One to two years of group exercise instruction experience preferred.Strong communication, interpersonal, and motivational coaching skills.Ability to create a positive, member-focused fitness experience while maintaining a safe environment.Compensation$12.00-$14.00 per hourBenefitsFREE access to fitness centers and pools at all YMCA of the Roses locations.Discounts on YMCA programs and lessons.FREE Child Watch services (up to 3 hours per day while working, when available).What You'll Love About This RoleEvery class offers the opportunity to help someone feel stronger, healthier, and more connected.
