Job Description

This position is contingent upon contract award. Hiring for this position will proceed only if BGMG receives the award.

Position Summary
The Occupancy and Space Management Analyst maintains the official space inventory, stacking plans, and occupancy records for a large federal office building, and supports the analyses that inform space and move planning.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the working inventory of space by floor, suite, tenant, use, and occupancy status
  • Maintain stacking plans and occupancy diagrams and reconcile them against floor plans and financial records
  • Track usable, rentable, assigned, shared, vacant, and unavailable space in accordance with applicable standards
  • Support preliminary blocking, test-fit, and space scenario analyses
  • Maintain records of planned moves, restacks, expansions, contractions, and new occupancies
  • Prepare recurring occupancy reports and support required real property inventory reporting
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, from an accredited institution
  • 5 years of space, occupancy, workplace, or real estate data experience
  • Experience reconciling floor plans, space assignments, occupancy records, and financial records
  • Proficiency with spreadsheet, database, visualization, and computer-aided drawing tools
  • Working knowledge of usable, rentable, assigned, and vacant space classifications under federal or industry standards
  • Ability to pass a federal security investigation for unescorted building access

Location: Washington, DC 20548 (onsite presence required)
Schedule: Core business hours, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays
Employment Type: Full-time, contingent upon contract award
Security: Selected candidate must pass a security investigation for unescorted building access; an existing federal clearance may be submitted for review in place of a new investigation
